The Business support officer provides high-level, confidential administrative support to the team. This role is responsible for managing a demanding and complex workload in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing high level of administration support
  • Fast and accurate high volume data entry
  • Records management related tasks such as file sorting, renaming and correspondence management
  • Maintaining an effective records management system and managing computerised databases
  • Processing work orders, purchase orders and invoices
  • Prioritise tasks to ensure work is completed within designated time frames
  • Encourage an innovative and dynamic team environment.
  • Perform other tasks of a technical or administrative nature as directed by the Manager.

Essential Selection Criteria

  • Proven ability to provide high-level administrative support, perform accurate and high-volume data entry, and effectively manage records and computerised databases.
  • An extremely high level of attention to detail is specifically mentioned as a key requirement for handling tasks like data entry, records management, and processing financial documents.
